The twisted knot construction is built for the toughest wire brushing applications. It is designed for cleaning welds, removing scale and cleaning parts where surface preparation is required.. The twisted wire in uniform supported tufts results in high impact brushing action and longer life. These are available in carbon and stainless steel wire. Standard sizes are 4” ,6” and 6-6/78” diameters.
Knot Type Wire Cup Brushes
Our premium knot cup construction features high strength steel components that are locked together as a unit.. This eliminates slippage, provides an aggressive and secure positive drive and excellent rotational balance. Stocked in carbon and stainless steel wire in 2-3/4”, 4” and 6” diameters.
Crimped Wire Cup Brushes
The crimped wire cup brush is engineered for light and medium duty applications.. They are manufactured with a premium quality wire, are perfectly balanced and lightweight to minimize vibration and operator fatigue. These are available with carbon and stainless steel wire in 2-3/4”,4” and 6” diameters.
Stem Mounted End Brushes
MBC provides a wide range of quality end brushes for hard to reach areas. Engineered to operate at higher RPM’s, these brushes provide more effective brushing action where space limitations is a factor These general purpose brushes are permanently mounted on ¼” steel stems . They are available ½”, ¾” and 1” diameters in carbon and stainless steel wire. Other variation of this type are available with different fill materials, trim lengths and modified shapes.
Wire Scratch Brushes
Our scratch brush offering includes the curved long handle and shoe handle styles in both carbon and stainless steel. These are staple-set in wood blocks to provide long lasting and efficient service at a low cost. These are excellent for light scale removal. Also available are the small hand scratch brush in the toothbrush style construction. These are supplied with both stainless and brass wire. They are preferred in tight areas for small parts and soldered joints for rust, contaminants, metal burrs, paint and varnish removal.
Chip Brushes
These inexpensive and disposable brushes are supplied with wood handles and white china bristle. They are a good value used for applying pipe coatings, removal of metal chips and painting. These are available in 1” to 4” in size.
Acid Swab Tool
Acid brushes are manufactured with electrolytic tin plate and filled with horse hair. Available in three sizes, 3/8”, ½” and 9/16”. These have long lasting qualities that hold up in environments when applying acid solder, lubricants and adhesives.
